Spider Monkey

Spider Monkey is from NOLA(New Orleans). She was found as a stray kitten after Katrina, and by found, I mean that she found her transportation to her new home by walking in an open apartment door and never leaving! She had an interesting first year of life between that apartment, a car ride up to Chicago, living on a porch, a basement, and a short stint in a barn(the other cats hated her) before she found her final home. She's a crazy lovable cat who lives up to her name in every way, shape and form!

I am rediscovering the beauty of Black and White. Here are 2 images I've discovered on this path, and I thought I'd share them. Enjoy!

Zeke

A couple months ago my cousin had a litte baby boy, nicknamed Zeke. He is the most adorable little guy!!! I love baby feet, they're so small and cute, and to me, represent possibility. That being said, I wanted to share this photo with you.

A Little Bit O' Nature!

Glacial Park in McHenry County is one of my favorite parks! I've been going there since I was in high school, and I would spend the whole day there hiking, running down the HUGE hill, wading in the Nippersink, great times! Here's a photo from a day I spent there about a month and a half ago. Enjoy!

My Coconutter!

I wanted to share some photos of my girl Coconut. She's a crazy little canine with a heart of gold!! Enjoy!

These last 3 photos may not be everybody's cup O'tea but I'm a fan. The first one especially I love, but I also really like the other 2, so I thought I'd share those as well!! :)

(I just love the nose licking!!)

My Girl

I spent the other afternoon with my puppy dog Coconut, and wanted to share one of the photos. I have not yet finished going through all the photos I took of her, but this is one of my favorites thus far. I hope you enjoy as much as I do!

Miss T

Miss T is going to have some 'proper' photographs once she can roam the field, but I wanted to share a couple quick snaps I took of her, the first one, quirky as it is, being my favorite!

Misha

Miss Misha is an interesting German Shepard. She definitely lives life by her own schedule and wants! And if there is a toy nearby, grab it quick, or you'll be chasing her for it until she decides she's had enough....which happens never, so be sure to have a treat or another toy with you to get her to drop it!!

Gilligan

Gilligan is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever met! He's a BIG guy, but he really is a huge teddy bear!! Gilligan doesn't realize his size, and over the winter tore his ACL, so right now he is out-of-play commission. Here's a sneak peak of this lovable guy, and once he's back to 100% I'll be back to photograph him at play!

Mr. T

This afternoon I hung out with a fellow named Taos, aka Mr. T. It was a beautiful day, and Mr. T did what he does best-sniff and roll!! Here's a few photos from our afternoon:

Lake Tahoe

A few years back I shot with medium format for the first time. An awesome friend let me borrow her Mamiya. These are a few of my favorite photos from that first roll of film. I just came across them for the first time in a while!

In The Garden

On Friday I spent my afternoon in the garden with a dapper young fellow named Charlie and a curious little guy named Oliver. Photos to follow soon, and I'm quite excited about this new adventure!
